Hi! I'm Alex, a studio photographer based out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio who specializes in pet and portrait photography.

Born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, I attended CFHS and after graduating, attended Kent State University to study business. After college, I bartended at a few bars and restaurants throughout the Akron area for a number of years. During this time I had purchased a Nikon d3400 to bring with me while I was traveling, and one of my managers had asked me to take a few photos for the restaurant I was working at. Reluctantly, I agreed. What started as a favor turned into a creative and challenging outlet. For the next couple years I was exclusively dealing with food and product photography for various local restaurants and brands.

Fast forward to 2020, someone asked yet another favor. They asked me if I could do headshots for them. I had never photographed a person at this point, but I had the equipment so I thought, "How hard could it be?" I fell in love with it instantly. I completely pivoted out of food and product photography and went head first into headshot photography. Although they were simple headshots at the time, working with people as well as the editing process and lighting setups had me hooked.

Shortly afterwards, I was asked if I could take pet photos for a friend. Long story short, we can all see where that same obsession has taken me.

Outside of photography I spend my time bowling in a league, various volleyball leagues, I enjoy video games and collecting (but mostly enjoying) bourbon. Thanks for reading!
